The goal of the this project will be to integrate, harden, and deploy an open, portable, robust performance tools environment for the NSF-funded high-performance computing centers. The project will improve and support a parallel performance environment that integrates the widely-used TAU, PAPI, KOJAK, and PerfSuite technologies as core components.
Four major institutions are collaborating in this project University of Oregon, University of Tennessee at Knoxville and National Center for Scientific Applications are developing the performance tools. Pittsburgh Super-Computing Center is helping introduces these tools to the HPC community.
