The Occupational Health Research Consortium in Aviation [OHRCA] is a group of academic researchers and labor unions dedicated to researching occupational health and safety issues for workers in the aviation industry.

OHRCA's current focus is on possible links between aircraft air supply contamination and crew health. The Federal Aviation Administration [FAA] Office of Aviation Medicine is funding a collaborative project between OHRCA and members of the
Airliner Cabin Environment Research [ACER] Center of Excellence
in response to the Vision 100-Century of Aviation Reauthorization Act [Public Law 108-176] legislation. The OHRCA/ACER research will assess exposure levels and possible health risks of airborne contaminants of engine oils and hydraulic fluids introduced to aircraft via the engines or auxiliary power unit.

NEW! Final findings from the Flight Attendant Health Survey are now available on the Results page.
